bay morab colt.  Likely to mature to over 15.2 hands.  Dark bay in color.  This is really going to be a nice colt.  Big boned, yet pretty.  Left with his momma until just over a year old, he took to weaning with no stress.  Photos taken 1 week after weaning and five days after his first lesson in human etiquette.  He was roped, taught to give to pressure, haltered and tied all within three lessons.  he had been scratched before, but had always been able to do it on his terms.  Once he was weaned, he was taught that the human gets to decide when to stay and when to leave, important lessons for young horses.  He is tied long in these photos because I start all my colts tied long so they do not feel panicked.  We are as gentle as possible, always trying to make sure no one gets hurt or scared.  He's a smart fella and will make an awesome, and very stunning riding horse one day.

The following photos taken at less than 24 hours old.

Photos taken Sept 22, 2007.   He is going to be a smart, elegant colt.  He is not as bold toward people as his pasturemate, Harmony, but is going to be an awesome riding horse...... and very pretty to boot.  His mother is protective of her babies and does not allow them to socialize with ANYBODY for a while.  He is now coming up to people and exploring what people are really for........ itching the itchy spots.  He will be a dark bay, perhaps not as black as his dam, but very dark with the black going up high over knees.  He has no white markings.  The bottom photos were when he found a halter lying on the ground and decided it may make some sort of game.  He pulled it around for a while and was not spooked when it jingled on the ground.  Even when it would get caught and tug, he would not care.  Later we drug it around to get some photos of them looking a bit more energetic............ the problem with my herd is if they have a halter on, they are so un-animated they all look like duds LOL.
